Our Story

Royale Casino Hire was built on a simple premise: casino entertainment done properly is one of the most effective ways to bring people together at an event. The games are universal, the croupiers set the pace, and within twenty minutes of the tables opening, groups of strangers are competing, laughing and talking in a way that no other format reliably achieves.

We started because we couldn’t find a provider that consistently met the standard we’d expect for the clients we were working with. Corporate event managers at KPMG and Netflix can’t take risks on entertainment. Wedding couples shouldn’t have to. So we built a service around the standard those clients actually need, full-size equipment, professionally trained croupiers, and the kind of operational reliability that means no surprises on the night.

In 2017, at seventeen years old, George Bentley ran his first fun casino event, a small table, a borrowed roulette wheel, a village-hall booking. There was something about turning an ordinary room into a working casino floor: the equipment going up, the croupiers stepping into character, the first guests sitting down. The format created a social atmosphere that nothing else at an event could match.

What started as occasional weekend bookings became a regular thing through 2018 and 2019. Then the pandemic arrived and, like everyone in events, the in-person side stopped overnight.

Rather than wait it out, George assembled a small team and built a virtual-events business, casino nights run on Zoom, race-night formats, themed evenings, keeping people connected during lockdown and serving clients internationally. It taught a different set of skills: remote staging, live production, working at scale on tight timing.

After lockdown lifted, George took on a national-scale events role as Technical Manager for a UK holiday company, overseeing audio-visual installations across 84 venues from Cornwall to Scotland. The work covered everything from large-scale live events to internal company celebrations, and built the operational backbone, project management, technical reliability, working with venue teams, that running events at proper standard requires.

In 2023, with that experience behind him, George launched Royale Casino Hire in its current form. The mission was specific: bring fun casino entertainment to a standard that holds up against Mayfair, Vegas or Monaco. Hand-picked equipment, ex-casino staff, careful customisation for every brief, and the kind of operational discipline that means a client never has to worry about anything on the night.

That’s the standard we still hold ourselves to. Every booking gets bespoke fun money options, every venue gets a site-specific brief, every event gets a team that knows what they’re walking into.

George has been running casino entertainment events since 2017. He started with a small table and a borrowed roulette wheel and has since built Royale into one of London’s most trusted fun casino hire companies, working with clients ranging from intimate milestone birthdays to large-scale corporate galas for some of the UK’s best-known organisations.

His approach to casino hire is simple: equipment that looks the part, croupiers who know what they’re doing, and communication that makes the booking process easy. Everything else follows from those three things.


Our Equipment

We operate 20+ full-size, professional-grade casino tables. Not practice tables. Not compact alternatives. The same size and weight you’d find on a casino floor.

Every table is maintained regularly and inspected before every event. Roulette wheels are casino-weight with precision bearings. Chips are clay-composite, not plastic. Playing cards are professional casino-grade decks, replaced regularly.

When guests sit down at a Royale table, it should feel real, because it is.


Our Croupiers

Our croupiers are trained professionals, not casual staff picked up for the weekend. They’re experienced in event environments: they know how to read a room, welcome first-timers without making them feel awkward, keep the energy right, and handle the technical side of each game with complete confidence.

They’re the most important part of what we do. An excellent croupier can turn a hesitant group into an enthusiastic table within ten minutes. A poor one can flatten an entire event. We don’t employ poor ones.


Areas We Cover

Our base is central London. We cover all of Greater London and the surrounding Home Counties, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, and East Anglia including Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Travel costs are confirmed at the time of booking.

What We’re Not

We are not a gambling company. Fun casino hire is entertainment, guests play with fun money tokens, no real money is ever wagered, and no gambling licence is required. We are a professional entertainment service that uses casino games as the format.
